Protesters with the "Occupy Wall Street" movement gather by the thousands in the early morning of October 14, 2011 at Zuccotti Park in New York City. Brookfield Properties, owners of the private park, had requested the NYPD's assistance in evacuating the park to facilitate a routine cleaning.
